Gary Garritan’s Personal Orchestra 4.0 orchestral collection is now available for download. Garritan joins the ranks of library producers who have migrated away from the Kontakt player; Version 4 is powered by the ARIA Instrument Engine.

Personal Orchestra 4.0 also takes a few steps away from Garritan’s proprietary sample collection by offering a selection of brass samples from ProjectSAM. This release also features new choir sounds and extended ranges for select instruments and Ensemble Presets. The Auto Legato tool detects when you’re playing a smooth line with overlapping notes and automatically applies correct legato transitions. An integrated ambience reverb and stereo stage give you some sonic manipulation tools, and there are new MIDI playback and recording features.
